●  Creation: Developed in 2005 by Jiang Yuanxun, the 24th-generation inheritor of Lapsang Souchong tea-making techniques.

●  Refinement: Initially trialed in 2006, perfected by 2007, and officially launched in 2008.

 

 

Production Process

●  Harvesting:Exclusively uses single buds from high-mountain small-leaf tea varieties.

●  Follows the principle: "Early start, precise mid-season timing, no late coarse leaves."

●  Withering:Conducted via sunlight withering or indoor withering to reduce moisture.

●  Kill-Green Fixation:High-temperature treatment to halt fermentation and soften leaves for rolling.

●  Rolling:5–8 minutes of rolling to shape leaves, rupture cells, and release juices.

●  Sorting:Mechanical + manual sorting to remove stems, coarse leaves, and impurities ("Three Cleans, One Purity").

 

Shaking & Fermentation
