Details Introduction

Citrus Pu-erh Tea Bags combine small green tangerines (qinggan) with Pu-erh tea, presented in convenient tea bag form. This blend captures the distinct characteristics of both ingredients, offering portability and ease of brewing. Below are the details:

Ingredient Selection

●  Green Tangerine (Qinggan): Typically sourced from Xinhui region, these unripe tangerines have green peels rich in volatile oils and hesperidin, contributing a fresh, fruity aroma.

●  Pu-erh Tea: Mostly made from fermented ripe Pu-erh tea from Yunnan, known for its deep reddish-brown color, mellow taste, and aged fragrance.

Production Process

The tangerine pulp is hollowed out, filled with ripe Pu-erh tea, and dried to allow the flavors to meld. The combined product is then portioned into tea bags for convenient use.

Brewing Steps

●  Warm the Cup: Rinse the teapot or cup with hot water to enhance aroma release.

●  Add Tea Bag: Place the Citrus Pu-erh tea bag into the teapot or cup.

●  Pour Water: Slowly pour boiling water (95–100°C) along the inner wall to avoid direct impact on the tea.

●  Steep: Adjust steeping time to taste—1–2 minutes for the first brew, extending to 2–5 minutes for subsequent infusions.

●  Serve: Pour the tea into a serving cup or drink directly. Ensure the tea bag is fully drained to maintain flavor consistency.

●  Savor: First inhale the aroma, appreciating the blend of citrus and aged Pu-erh, then taste the rich, smooth, and slightly sweet infusion.

Notes

●  Citrus Pu-erh tea bags are highly reusable, typically yielding 5–8 brews, though flavor intensity diminishes over time.

●  Adjust tea quantity and steeping time for preferred strength—longer steeping or more tea bags intensify flavor, while less creates a milder taste.

Features & Benefits

●  Convenience: Easy to brew without specialized tools, suitable for various occasions.

●  Rich Flavor: Harmonizes the citrus’s fresh tartness with Pu-erh’s deep mellowness for a layered taste.

●  Health Benefits: The tangerine’s volatile oils and Pu-erh’s polyphenols & theaflavins aid digestion, weight management, and antioxidant effects.

Storage

Store in a dry, ventilated, odor-free place away from sunlight and moisture to prevent spoilage. Properly stored, the tea bags remain fresh for 1–2 years.
